A Low Bandwidth Solution for Online Assessments

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF version

Proctor caching is strongly encouraged for schools with low bandwidth or large numbers of simultaneous users.  With proctor caching, a test administrator downloads test content only once from the Pearson server to the district or school. This helps avoid potential bottlenecks from testing traffic due to slower network switches, a shared Internet connection, or any other constraint from large-scale assessment traffic.
