Leading PARCC's Day-to-Day activitiesPARCC has formed several committees to help manage and lead the day-to-day work of the consortium.
The PARCC consortium Governing Board makes major policy and operational decisions, including decisions related to the overall design of the assessment system, adoption of performance levels for the assessments, and modifications to PARCC’s governance structure and decision-making process, as necessary.

Parcc K-12 Leadership Team MembersThe K-12 Leadership Team coordinates all aspects of the development of the PARCC assessment system and serves as the conduit to the Technical Advisory Committee and the Governing Board.
Leadership TeamThe team is responsible for coordinating higher education engagement in the PARCC assessment system and works closely with the Advisory Committee on College Readiness.
Helping to Shape post-secondary StrategiesThe Advisory Committee on College Readiness includes higher education executive officers from PARCC states and other state- and nationally-recognized leaders in the postsecondary community.
Providing Critical information and FeedbackThe PARCC Educator Leader Cadre (ELC) is an extensive network of state and local educators who provide critical information and feedback to the PARCC consortium and engage with colleagues in their states about the PARCC assessments. ELC members are on the front lines of building and expanding the number of teachers, building and district leaders who understand, support and feel ownership of the successful implementation of the PARCC assessments. Each state supports its own ELC membership, feeding into the work at the national level.
Ensuring Reliable resultsThe TAC helps ensure the assessments will provide reliable results to inform valid instructional and accountability decisions.
Providing Technical Guidance on Consortium PolicyThroughout the accessibility policy development process, members of the technical working groups provided technical guidance and expert recommendations on consortium policies described in the PARCC Accessibility Features and Accommodations Manual.
Ensuring Accessible AssessmentsThis operational working group, composed of state practitioners, is responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the accessibility scope of work, and is charged with ensuring the PARCC design includes accessible assessments that remain true to the intended vision of the assessment system.
